Drivers are no longer confined to a Taxi Rank. If a driver is on the move or waiting on a Taxi Rank, Customers can reach a driver using our app and order a local Taxi.
A customer using our “Digital Taxinet” App can order a Taxi from wherever they are – home, office, train station or virtually anywhere in the UK anytime and the App will find their nearest Taxi with selected seating capacity within 60 seconds – and the Taxi will come to them.
For the first time in the United Kingdom our “Digital Taxinet” App connects a customer to a local, council-licensed Hackney Carriage Taxi driver directly without a Taxi Operator and order a local Taxi from home, office, train station or virtually anywhere in the United Kingdom anytime for travel to almost anywhere within the United Kingdom.
This is a platform with the most advanced technology that gives all of UK’s Hackney Carriage Taxi drivers a new way of reaching new local customers.
Unlike other apps such as Uber or Bolt, we are not a private hire vehicle (PHV) operator. Instead, Digital Taxinet acts purely as a intermediary technology provider that connects a customer directly to a local, council-licensed Hackney Carriage Taxi driver.
WHAT IS…How it works in detail:
We aggregate data of our UPINET™ (UK-wide Private Intranet Network) in real-time that provides technology through our DIGITALTAXINET Mobile Apps (User and Driver) which enables a person to initiate a two-way communication link via voice, text and data with the United Kingdom Hackney Carriage Taxi Drivers who are registered with our Platform/Network, online and within a reasonable local distance (determined by our In-App live GPS location data) to the communication initiator to discuss his or her itinerary or travel matter with the Driver.
We accept on our Platform/Network only United Kingdom local authority/council-licensed Hackney Carriage Taxi/Drivers who are currently operating as normal. We do not accept any PHV (Private Hire Vehicle) on our platform. Unlike other apps such as Uber, Bolt or regional operators, we are NOT a private hire vehicle (PHV) operator. Instead, Digital Taxinet acts purely as a intermediary technology provider that connects a customer directly to a local, council-licensed Hackney Carriage Taxi driver.
Our platform is designed for immediate travel. We do not provide any advance pre-booking service for future travel. We do not take any advance booking from a person and provide a Taxi. We do not licence any Taxis. We do not collect any payments from either party in relation to their travel arrangements or take any commission from it. We are a zero % commission platform, drivers keep 100% of the fare and/or any tips.

Instant Search
Customer enters pickup and destination address then selects how many seats required. Then Tap Search.
We Locate Taxi
We then instantly locate all available local Taxis nearest to the customer with matching seating capacity. We display the PICKUP and DESTINATION (Full Address) on Driver’s phone / device screen.
Get Reply
When a local Driver accepts the Trip the Customer gets an instant notification, and view on their smartphone screen as the Taxi arrives with live GPS tracking. Customer and the Driver (who accepted the trip) can speak to each other via the App without revealing the phone numbers or send and receive messages before the Taxi arrives.
Pay Standard Rate
Customer pays the Driver directly the STANDARD RATE fare as shown on the Official Taxi Meter by either cash, card or contactless payment (whatever method driver accepts). We do not collect any payments from the customers via the App or any other means. Customer pays Standard Rate fare 24 hours a day 7 days a week as set by local authorities. NO hidden charges or extras.
